Brandon Wyse, MSc
Brandon joined the CReATe research team in 2016 as a technician in the Ovarian Biology Research group, and was involved in several diverse research projects including studying and characterizing biomarkers in ovarian follicular fluid. In late 2016, he was promoted to manager of this team. He now leads a team investigating biomarkers of oocyte quality, maturity, and female infertility. He maintains several cross-institutional collaborative projects investigating oocyte maturation, communication and growth as well as biomarkers of female infertility. He also collaborates internally at CReATe on multiple basic and translational research projects in embryology, stem-cell biology and regenerative therapy. He completed his Masters of Science at the University of Guelph in 2014, where he studied epigenetic regulation and histone shuttling in the budding yeast and established a model for studying the epigenetic regulation of the human malaria causing agent, Plasmodium falciparum.
